So i went to the Britney concer on wednesday! The whole day was so good.. Day off work, and went to the 02 and back by boat. Was amazing seeing London that way!
And the concert didnt dissapoint! Great show.

Havent posted for a while. Had such a busy week
So my shoot for Status magazine was on Saturday. The day started the worse way it could have done. Everything that could go wrong, went wrong. All my assistants canceled, and also the trains were canceled from my station , so i had to get a bus, train,tube and walk to get there. I was obviously a bit late. But once i got there, it all went great. The model looked amazing. The beautiful Teresa K from Storm management.

Had a great team of styling hair and make up. So the results are amazing. I been busy retouching this week, as im flying home on Friday to Cyprus.
I cant wait for the magazine to be out so i can show you the results:) We got the cover too and i can tell you its gonna look so good.

I wanted to bring fun back into my work, do what i love and stop caring if im on my way to becoming established and all that. The shoot was hard work, and working with a big team of people does become stressful, but, when i see the results then it makes it all worth it. I dont put pressure on myself anymore, i do the shoots for fun, and i dont expect anything from it. Just good results and the pleasure of seeing it published:)

This is the new addition to my tattoos...almost 70% of my arm must be covered now. I been doing small tattoos rather than 1 big one, so i need to start thinking how to tidy it all up now.

Anyway im off to plan this shoot for next weekend!

Work in Progress

I havent done a photoshoot for months. I didnt get any projects, i been tired from my fulltime job and in a way i been taking a break. My mind is always trying to think what do i need to do, to make an impact, and for the last few months i have been taking a break. Trying to think what direction to follow with photography.

Recently i became too serious and perhaps too desperate to improve and to find a formula that will get me noticed. And that resulted in me stop having fun with photography, which was the reason i first ever got into it. So i sat back, and decided to relax, and enjoy it again, bring the fun back and do what i love without caring if its high fashion or cheesy crap.

So i ll be collaborating with Status magazine once again. They have been good to me. They have 3 issues out so far, and i have done photos for all of them. This time though, i ll have fun, enjoy the shoot and im sure the results will be good, cause when you love what you do, it shows.

I love having a project to organise. I enjoy the process of thinking of ideas more than the actual photoshoot. It keeps me on my toes and kinda makes everything exciting for a while:)

I ll be updating with my ideas, the day of the shoot and finally the results:)

Moody Sunday afternoons

I dont like Sundays. From since i was a little kid, in Cyprus, Sunday afternoons meant the end of a fun packed weekend at the beach or even worse, for once a year, it meant the end of a 3 months summer holiday and the return to school. For some reason those Sundays always happen to be cloudy, even if it was sunny everyday for the 5 months before.

So here i am, many years later getting the same feeling every Sunday. Maybe its cause its always cloudy here in London.
I always find myself torn between 2 countries. I m here to chase my dreams, but the quality of life isnt what i m used to. Life back home is so uncomplicated and relaxed, the sun makes everyone happy, its safe, my family and friends are there, but there are no opportunities if you have ambitions.

I dont usually photograph landscapes, but these are 2 of my favourite photos. The man on the beach shouting that his juice is lovely.

And an empty funfair, on a cloudy, moody day, exactly how Sunday afternoons feel like

So one of the pics i did for Status magazine had Gala wearing a leopard Agent Provocateur leotard! The magazine just came out, but the shoot was done before christmas last year. Since then i keep seeing the same leotard appearing in newspapers and magazine worn by Lily, Daisy and Katy.
